Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
COURSE INFORMATION
The BLS for Healthcare Providers Course is designed to train healthcare professionals to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide effective CPR, use AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course is intended for a variety of healthcare professionals.
Course Curriculum Includes: The use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) / Adult CPR / Child CPR / Infant CPR / Choking / Use of a bag-valve-mask device (BVM).
Entry Requirements: Students must be 16 years or older, and preferably need to work in a healthcare environment or in a law enforcement environment
Course Duration: 6 Hours
Course Validity: 2 Years
Course Accreditation: American Heart Association (AHA)
